Corporate Payments Lead Product Owner - Fin-Tech

Our client is looking for a Senior Corporate Payments Banking Product Leader to join a major payments transformation initiative. The role focuses on helping design a next-generation European Payment Gateway platform that supports Corporate & Investment Banking services, including:

• Cash management (essential)

• Cross-border payments

• Liquidity management

• Cash pooling (essential)

• Treasury payments

This position is best suited for experienced banking professionals with deep expertise in transaction banking products, particularly those serving corporate clients and treasury teams.

This is not a technical Product Owner role; instead, it requires a senior banking product specialist with strong domain knowledge.

Core Banking System:

At the center of the platform is a proprietary core banking system developed since 2018. The system incorporates blockchain technology and follows a product-centric design philosophy.

Banking products are defined through smart contracts, which are created using a specialized editor designed to be accessible to non-technical users.

Infrastructure and Process Management

The platform is fully hosted on Google Cloud, covering all infrastructure components—from workspace environments to Kubernetes clusters.

Business processes are orchestrated using Flowable OSS and the BPMN standard, with process models created through an internally customized version of Flowable Modeler.

12–18+ years of banking experience, particularly in areas such as:

• Transaction Banking

• Cash Management

• Payments

• Liquidity Management

• Corporate Banking Products

Typical backgrounds may include roles such as:

• Transaction Banking Product Director

• Global Cash Management Product Manager

• Payments Product Manager

• Liquidity Management Product Manager

Experience working with large multinational corporations and corporate treasury departments is considered a strong advantage.

• Cash management services

• Cross-border payment solutions

• Liquidity management offerings

• Virtual account structures

• Cash pooling arrangements

• Product strategy and roadmap development

• Value proposition design

• Pricing strategies for transaction banking services

• Service agreements and contractual frameworks for corporate customers

• Definition of product capabilities for a large-scale banking platform
