Systems Engineer

Place of work: Warsaw  

Responsibilities: 

•  Supporting the Systems Engineering team with company projects in the field of quantum technologies; 
• Carrying out systems engineering tasks in all phases of the project – from identifying user needs, defining requirements, system architecture to the operational phase; 
• Preparing trade-off analyses and selecting optimal design solutions; 
• Overseeing project documentation; 
• Reporting and participating in working meetings with project partners; 
• Supporting the Business Development team: providing technical input for proposals and preparing offers. 

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of electronic issues, including FPGA and embedded software; 
• Experience in telecommunications or cryptography or in control and measurement systems, IoT, and cameras; 
• Ability to manage system requirements; 
• Knowledge of systems engineering topics (ISO/ECSS/INCOSE, etc.); 
• Experience in creating project documentation; 
• Familiarity with AIT issues; 
• Ability to work in a team; 
• Ability to solve problems independently, creativity; 
• Ability to work under time pressure; 
• Good knowledge of English. 

Preferred: 

• Experience in projects of the National Centre for Research and Development, the European Commission, etc.; 
• Experience in team management; 
• Knowledge of optical systems (cameras, detectors); 
• Knowledge of the construction and operation of quantum systems (computers, key distribution); 
• Knowledge of the Sinara ecosystem; 
• Knowledge of quantum technology issues.
