Senior Solution Architect / Technical Team Lead (Java, NodeJS, AWS)

We are building a next-generation, large-scale marketplace with embedded payment systems, operating entirely on a serverless AWS infrastructure. We seek a unique technical leader whose true value lies in consistently understanding and analyzing every technical challenge in the context of the entire platform—covering both software and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

• Holistic platform perspective: analyze and solve technical problems with consideration for the full platform architecture (software + infra, serverless AWS, payments)

• High-level abstraction: break down and reframe feature requests into their core requirements. Challenge assumptions and discover more effective, less complex approaches

• Technical design mastery: drive the design of technical "masterpieces"—critical, scalable solutions, and constantly scrutinize reliability, performance, coherence, and development best practices

• Communication & collaboration: translate complex problems clearly to other developers and stakeholders. Foster open, analytical dialogue and knowledge sharing within the team

• Team leadership potential: play a vital role in mentoring, shaping, and potentially managing a rapidly growing engineering team

• Learning & adaptiveness: lead by example with intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn, experiment, and challenge outdated practices

Requirements:

• Sharp intelligence & analytical mindset—you enjoy working with really smart people and thrive in deep analytical discussions

• Exceptional technical communication—you clearly explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Expert hands-on skills: actively programmed in Java and NodeJS

• AWS expertise: proven record in managing infrastructure, designing scalable, serverless solutions

• Technical & organizational decision-maker: significant experience making technical and process decisions in product development

• Senior-level or team leader: served as a senior developer, architect, or team lead (5-15 person teams preferred)

• Startup / fast-paced environment: background in startups or small companies where flexibility and rapid evolution are key

• Experience with marketplaces, payments, and high-growth platforms is highly valued

• Fluent English: you communicate with ease and confidence at a full professional level
