Location / work model:

• Remote (within Poland)

Salary:

• 145 - 170 PLN nett + VAT / h / B2B contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the development of robust, secure and scalable applications using Java and modern frameworks

• Define architecture principles and best practices to ensure consistency across teams

• Lead the implementation of microservices-based architectures leveraging Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar technologies

• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs

• Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and design patterns to improve system performance and maintainability

• Promote secure coding practices and implement proper authentication and authorization mechanisms

• Provide mentorship, conduct code reviews, and support engineering teams in solving complex technical challenges

Expectations:

• 10+ years of Java experience, including at least 5 years in a Software or Solution Architect role

• Expert knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot/Cloud, Hibernate

• Proven track record designing distributed, microservices-based systems

• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL or gRPC

• Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Excellent communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and proficiency in English (B2+)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of real-time data processing frameworks (Apache Flink, Hazelcast)

• Experience integrating AI/ML components into production systems

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
