DevOps System Admin
This role is responsible for automating the creation and deployment of Operating System (OS) images for our products using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible. The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise in automation, compliance with GMP environments, and familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for OS image creation and deployment across multiple platforms.
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code templates and scripts using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
Ensure compliance with GMP standards and internal quality frameworks during image build and deployment processes.
Collaborate with OT and IT teams to integrate automation solutions into industrial environments securely and efficiently.
Optimize build pipelines for scalability, reliability, and auditability.
Document processes and maintain version-controlled repositories for all automation artifacts.
Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives for image build automation.
Experience & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of GMP compliance and validation requirements in regulated environments.
Familiarity with OT systems, industrial networks, and secure deployment practices.
Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with IEC 62443 or similar OT security standards.
Exposure to edge computing and hybrid IT/OT architectures.
Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
