We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Platform Extensions team. The team currently consists of 6 members and is responsible for Controlant’s device life cycle management, monitoring solutions, device logistics solutions, as well as customer and third-party device integrations. In this role, you will work within our Development Life Cycle and Innovation Process as a full stack developer, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define business and technical requirements for developing new features or redesigning existing functionality.

What are the responsibilities?

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex features, services, or systems within the relevant discipline.

• Define and influence technical direction and solution architecture in alignment with company objectives.

• Drive cross-team initiatives that improve scalability, performance, reliability, or maintainability.

• Act as a technical mentor, supporting the growth of Associate Engineers and Engineers.

• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to shape roadmap priorities.

• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies early in the development lifecycle.

• Promote engineering excellence by contributing to standards, tooling, and best practices across disciplines.

• Support production systems or delivered solutions, participating in incident resolution and continuous improvement.

• Document complex solutions clearly and contribute to shared team knowledge.

    

What are the qualifications?

• University degree in Computer science, Engineering or similar - or experience in Software Development

• Highly open to and experienced with using AI tools (particularly Claude) to enhance coding productivity, problem-solving, and development workflows.

• Proficient in different frontend frameworks (Especially React)

• Proficient in Python

• .NET experience is a big plus

• Experience with AWS is a big plus

• Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously

• Good written and spoken English
