We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead our cloud infrastructure team, overseeing the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure solutions on both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. In this senior role, you will guide a small team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive our cloud strategy and deliver solutions that align with our business goals.
What are the responsibilities?
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Architect, design, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure to meet business requirements.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of cloud environments, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Oversee the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Conduct regular security assessments and enforce best practices to protect cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enhance and support cloud-based applications.
- Stay current with the latest AWS and Azure services and solutions, recommending and integrating new features as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
What are the qualifications?
- B.Sc. degree or higher in a relevant field, or 5-year equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, with a strong background in AWS.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab CI and Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture principles.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
