About the Role

Consid Poland is growing, and we are looking for a Tech Lead with strong frontend engineering expertise to join our team in Gdańsk. You’ll play a key role in building high-quality e-commerce solutions for international clients while shaping and leading a new frontend team around you.

The role will start fully remote, then move into a hybrid model (3 days/week in-office) to combine flexibility with collaboration. This is a unique opportunity to be both a hands-on engineer and a people leader, driving technical excellence and fostering team growth.

Your Responsibilities

As a Tech Lead / Frontend Engineer, you will:

• Lead and mentor a growing team of frontend developers, building capabilities for long-term success.

• Drive the design, development, and optimization of Vue.js applications in a large-scale AWS cloud-based environment.

• Take ownership of creating scalable, high-performing, and accessible applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Ensure high code quality, reliability, and best practices (CI/CD pipelines, testing, performance optimization).

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to orchestrate workflows for an e-commerce platform.

• Navigate complex IT and telecom infrastructures, understanding dependencies, data models, and integrations across microservices.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, technical innovation, and challenging the status quo.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong frontend expertise.

• Previous experience in a Tech Lead or Team Lead role, including responsibility for guiding and mentoring other developers.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Vue.js (v2, JavaScript and/or TypeScript)

  • Contentful headless CMS (must-have)

  • Git (PR-based workflows)

  • Jenkins

  • REST / GraphQL

  • JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, SCSS

  • BEM (or similar CSS naming convention), Bootstrap

  • Webpack, Gulp, Node.js, NPM

  • Responsive design, Accessibility, SEO, semantic markup

  • Cross-browser web development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vue 3 and frontend unit testing frameworks.

• Knowledge of Adobe Target.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.

• Interest in UX and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
