About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our cloud engineering team and help design, implement, and operate scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will work across Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, platform security, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). You will be responsible for building and maintaining production-grade cloud environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.

We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating processes, and improving platform reliability in modern cloud-native environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Deploy and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes and GKE.

• Implement cloud security, IAM controls, and platform governance best practices.

• Improve observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.

• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.

• Support platform scalability, performance optimization, and automation initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve deployment and operational processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Strong commercial experience with Terraform.

• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.

• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes workloads, preferably on GKE.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking and infrastructure design.

• Experience with IAM, security controls, and cloud governance.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.

• Experience operating cloud platforms in production environments.

• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

• Experience with incident response and operational support.

• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.

• Experience with Security Command Center, Checkov, tfsec, or similar security tooling.

• Experience with Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, or hybrid cloud networking.

• Google Cloud certifications.

• Previous experience in an SRE or Production Engineering role.
