Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant to implement and localize international customs and foreign trade processes for our Polish branch. You will own end-to-end GTS rollout activities, with a strong focus on Polish customs regulations, PUESC integration, and alignment with EU Customs Code.

Main Responsibilities

• Process Analysis & Mapping: Analyze and map local customs and foreign trade processes for the Polish entity.

• Polish Localization in SAP GTS: Implement Polish customs requirements within SAP GTS (Customs, Preference, Compliance, eCustoms).

• Stakeholder & Authority Alignment: Coordinate with local stakeholders, customs agencies, and government authorities; ensure correct use of procedure codes (EX, IM, T1, T2L).

• Integration & Interfaces: Integrate SAP ECC/S/4HANA with SAP GTS for Poland; enable communication with ATLAS, AES, PUESC via eDocument Framework / EDI / XML.

• Customization & Extensions: Configure GTS and develop enhancements (RFC, plugins, BAdIs) as needed.

• Training & Change Management: Conduct key-user trainings and lead change initiatives.

• Testing & Hypercare: Plan and execute SIT/UAT, manage defects, and deliver post-go-live Hypercare.

• Template Adaptation: Localize and adapt global rollout templates to Polish regulatory and operational context.

Technical Requirements

• SAP GTS Modules: Customs Management, Preference Management, Compliance Management, eCustoms Integration.

• Regulatory Expertise (Poland/EU): In-depth knowledge of Polish Customs Law and EU Customs Code (UCC/UZK); proven experience with PUESC and cooperation with Polish customs authorities.

• Integration & Development: SAP GTS customizing and integration (RFC, plugins, BAdIs); interfaces via eDocument Framework / EDI / XML.

• S/4HANA Readiness: Experience preparing and running GTS in SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Industry Experience: (Specialized) machinery industry.
