What you will be doing? 👇

In Your role as a Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for managing development team of approx. 25 employees. At the same time, you will be part of product delivery, therefore strong experience in organizational, technical and operational aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC) is required.

Your main tasks are:

• Line management of direct reports
• Team building, including recruitment of the new team members (software engineers)
• Ensuring that professional and methodological training is provided in own area of responsibility, creating conditions for knowledge transfer, potentially willing to take on training projects, speaker functions and mentorships
• Responsibility for ensuring workplace health and safety for all employees
• Support for young talents (eg. creation of talent development plans)
• Leadership role in cluster development (improvement of processes and collaboration)
• Active role model function for the agile methodology and a strong focus on customers and service
• Ensuring that team members in own area of responsibility always meet compliance requirements, strict compliance with regulatory training requirements; actively promoting awareness of compliance-related issues among the staff
• Technical leadership in modern technology stacks Java.Sparl, NiFi, Hadoop, Cloud-based services
• Project leadership and cross-functional reporting of the projects’ status to the line management

Alternative task:

• Support the delivery of Data Lake Platforms, Data ingestion tools or Use Case
• Support of development, rollouts, acceptance tests etc.
• Support of change, incident, and problem management
• Support local DTC in various programs, e.g Skills@Work, Promotional events etc.

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌

• Good leadership skills
• Experience on development and operations in a hybrid environment, e.g. on premise and cloud, central and decentral environments
• Good knowledge of Technical change Management
• Basic knowledge of Cloud (GCP, MS Azure)
• Basic Knowledge Relational databases
• Basic knowledge of testing, error correction and quality assurance methodologies
• Basic knowledge of Hadoop (HDP, CDP)
• Basic knowledge of Apache NiFi
• Knowledge of automation of technical process controls/job scheduling
