DevOps with API products

About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our growing international team distributed all around the world. The role will involve API design, serverless architectures, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), and Python programming. This support is essential for an additional external team that is developing a portal using the Out Systems platform. 

Responsibilities:

• Experience in building API products and API management - Apigee including API versioning
• Documentation and developer onboarding experience
• Feature and functional Design and delivery as apart of software delivery team.
• Experience of work with Product, customer, stakeholder end user for delivery of software solution or product
• Deep understanding of importance and principle of engineering excellence
• Exposure of DEV ops tools Jenkins , Bamboos etc.

Skills & Experience:

• Deep experience of working with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, or similar, for deployment purposes
• Experience in pipeline development and troubleshooting
• Deep understanding of containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
• Familiarity with docker and docker-compose
• Experience in building API products and API management e.g. Apigee.
• Including API versioning, documentation, and developer onboarding experience
• Familiar with API best practices
• Experience of working in the development of AWS cloud native solutions.
• Experience of various database paradigms including SQL & NoSQL
• Solid understanding of security protocols and standards
• Understanding of serverless solution design & Event Driven integration patterns
• Deep understanding of the importance and principles of engineering excellence and demonstrating this knowledge in your work.
• Have experience in supporting, monitoring, and maintaining production grade systems:
• Investigation via observability tooling e.g. Splunk, Datadog, AWS tooling
• Responding and identifying production impacting issues
• Creating remediation plans and reporting for issues
