BI Developer

Location: Warsaw

Work model: Hybrid (2-3 days work from the office in Warsaw)

We’re looking for a BI Developer with strong experience in MicroStrategy, Business Objects, and modern data platforms to support our migration from Teradata to Snowflake. You’ll help rebuild, optimize, and validate BI reports and dashboards to ensure seamless integration with Snowflake and enable advanced analytics across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure BI solutions and data models for enterprise reporting.

• Rebuild, repoint, and optimize dashboards and reports in MicroStrategy / Business Objects using Snowflake.

• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to align data models and pipelines with BI needs.

• Lead the migration of BI assets from Teradata to Snowflake, ensuring accuracy and performance.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and testing throughout the migration.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.

• Implement BI best practices around governance, security, and scalability.

• Support and troubleshoot BI tools during and after migration.

• Automate reporting processes and streamline manual workflows.

• Document architecture, non-functional requirements, and technical solutions.

• Mentor BI developers and oversee day‑to‑day team activities.

  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with MicroStrategy, Business Objects, and BI reporting tools.

• Advanced SQL skills; experience with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.

• Experience converting Teradata logic to Snowflake.

• Solid understanding of data modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and ETL/ELT concepts.

• Scripting in Python, Shell, DAX, or R.

• Experience with Snowflake, Azure cloud integrations, and data migration projects.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

• Banking/financial services experience is a plus.
