Senior Power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our Client's team in delivering insightful data solutions for clinical operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Power BI, demonstrating strong data visualization skills and the ability to convert complex technical requirements into interactive and impactful dashboards. As a vital member of our integrated data project team, you will collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality reports and comprehensive documentation of processes.

Tasks:

• Translate Requirements: Convert technical and business requirements from stakeholders into engaging, functional Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Data Visualization: Design and implement visually appealing and intuitive dashboards to effectively communicate data insights.

• Collaborate: Work in tandem with data engineers and developers on integrated data projects, focusing on clinical operations.

• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and uphold best development practices for data modelling and report generation.

• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues in existing reports and dashboards to enhance functionality and accuracy.

• Project Collaboration: Utilize Jira for effective project tracking and team collaboration.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Power BI, including DAX and data visualization best practices.

• Strong SQL skills with specific knowledge and experience in querying databases.

• Experience using Jira for collaboration and project management.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to find effective solutions quickly.

• Proficient in English, with strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Proficiency in data modelling techniques and best practices for analytics.

• Powerapps, PowerAutomate and SharePoint knowledge a plus.

• Experience using Snowflake Power BI connection.

• Experience in the clinical operations domain or healthcare industry - nice to have.
