Who you are going to work for 

Currently, we cooperate with Patchwork. It is an award-winning digital healthcare solution that was built by doctors, for doctors in the UK.
  • The solution is revolutionising flexible working in the National Health Service and is helping healthcare organisations save millions by connecting them to an increasing number of flexible bank workers.
  • Patchwork grows medical facilities by building staff banks, removes reliance and spending on HR agencies, and aims to improve the general experience of flexible bank working.

Who you are going to work with

  • You will cooperate with Ruby Engineers (from C&P and Patchwork) who are passionate about writing high-quality, scalable code and who are bringing the products into the next phase of development
  • Join an experienced team where team members share knowledge freely and work collaboratively amongst a diverse team of talented engineers and really know how to build and deliver the best solution possible

Who we are looking for 

  • Good knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails 
  • Experience with databases systems (especially MySQL) 
  • Good knowledge of GraphQL 
  • Working knowledge of Docker 
  • Experience with CI/CD (e.g. Bitrise) 
  • Basic knowledge of using automated testing frameworks such as Cypress 
  • Experience with AppSignal + Rollbar 
  • Confidence in refactoring and working with both new and existing codebases
  • Familiarity with deploying and managing applications on the cloud 
  • A strong and flexible work ethic 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • English speaking skills
