Transformation Consultant (Agile / SAFe) with German

Support and execute a large-scale agile transformation for a software development organization of roughly 480 people. Your primary objective is to transition the current structure into Value Streams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) while fostering a culture of agility. This role is about more than just frameworks; it is about driving organizational change, improving delivery scalability, and embedding DevOps principles into the company's DNA.

• Start Date: ASAP.

• Duration: Approximately 9 months, with potential for extension.

• Capacity: Full-time.

• Location: Mostly remote, with occasional travel (a few days per month) to Germany and limited international locations.

• Languages: Business fluent in both German and English.

Responsibilities

• Architecting Change: Designing and executing a comprehensive agile transformation strategy based on the SAFe framework.

• Restructuring: Leading the reorganization of teams into efficient Value Streams and Agile Release Trains.

• Coaching: Providing hands-on agile coaching to existing Scrum teams to improve efficiency and mindset.

• Performance Metrics: Introducing agile metrics and performance tracking to provide clear visibility into delivery scalability.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborating with leadership to ensure change management is communicated clearly and delivery efficiency is optimized.

• DevOps Advocacy: Promoting and supporting the implementation of DevOps principles within the agile ecosystem.

Requirements

• Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in agile transformations specifically within software development environments.

• SAFe Mastery: Proven track record of implementing SAFe in large-scale organizations.

• Certification: SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are required/highly preferred.

• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Skill Set: Strong background in Agile Coaching, Scrum methodologies, and DevOps principles.
