Our mission is to evolve an existing Gitleaks-based scanner into a global, high-performance security powerhouse. We aren't just scanning code; we are integrating AI (LLM/ONNX) to slash false-positive rates and expanding the scanner's reach across new technologies and global infrastructures. Responsibilities

• Rust Development: Build custom extensions for the secret scanner to enhance its core capabilities.

• AI Integration: Connect the scanner to LLM systems using the ONNX format to intelligently filter out false positives and improve accuracy.

• Pattern Mastery: Implement and refine detection patterns and complex Regex rules for a vast array of secret types.

• GitLab Orchestration: Integrate the solution into GitLab CI/CD pipelines with automated policy checks and compliance enforcement.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize scan speeds and database interactions (Postgres & Redis) to ensure the scanner handles global-scale traffic without breaking a sweat.

• Documentation: Create professional-grade Markdown documentation and train dev teams on security best practices.

Requirements

• Programming: High-level mastery of Rust (it’s the engine of our scanner).

• DevOps & Containers: Deep expertise in GitLab CI/CD, Docker (multi-stage builds), and Kubernetes.

• Data Layers: Practical experience with Postgres and Redis (performance tuning is key).

• Security: Sound understanding of Secret Management, GitLab policies, and hands-on experience with various scanning tools.

• Pattern Matching: Professional-level Regex skills.

• AI Fundamentals: A solid grasp of Large Language Models (LLMs) and the ONNX format.

Nice to Have

• Experience evaluating and benchmarking alternative scanning tools.

• A background in global rollout strategies for security software.
