Senior QA Automation (Automotive / AWS)

Join a long-term collaboration with a US-based software company serving the automotive industry. You will be part of a team responsible for the development and maintenance of an application monitoring solution built on AWS, utilizing Elastic Search and Kibana. This is a high-responsibility role that blends traditional automated testing with production stability, monitoring, and release support.

Engagement Details

• Client Location: USA.

• Rate: 120-150 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B)

• Duration: 12+-month contract

• Start Date: ASAP.

• English Level: Minimum B2

Responsibilities

• Automated Testing: Development and maintenance of test suites to ensure high software quality.

• Observability & Monitoring: Developing and maintaining monitoring solutions using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Grafana.

• Production Stability: Monitoring production environments and providing immediate incident response.

• Release Support: Supporting deployment processes and participating in on-call shifts during releases (minimum once per month).

• Collaboration: Working closely with technical teams on the client side and internal project squads.

Requirements

• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch).

• Test Automation: Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, and Postman.

• Monitoring Tools: Deep knowledge of the ELK Stack and Grafana.

• CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and basic knowledge of Terraform.

• Databases: Solid knowledge of SQL Server.

• Release Management: Practical experience in managing and supporting release processes.

Availability & Working Hours

• Core Hours: Availability required at least until 17:00 CET.

• Synchronous Work: Regular meetings with the US team between 15:00 and 16:00 CET.

• Flexibility: Readiness for ad-hoc activities in the late afternoon and mandatory on-call availability during release cycles.
