Mid/Senior PHP developer

We are assembling a specialized team to take over the maintenance and architectural evolution of a large-scale Care-Management Platform. This is a high-impact project involving the modernization of a legacy PHP system and its systematic migration to a modern Laravel framework. You will be responsible for ensuring the current system remains rock-solid while actively building its successor.

• Total Openings: 6 FTEs (2 Seniors, 4 Regulars).

• Start Date: April 2026 / ASAP.

• Rate: Up to 100 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B).

• Location: 100% Remote.

• Team Structure: Working alongside a dedicated Project Manager and Architect.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize & Maintain: Ensure the existing PHP-based platform remains performant and bug-free during the transition.

• Architectural Migration: Participate in the redesign and hands-on migration of core modules to Laravel.

• Feature Evolution: Implement new functionalities within the new architecture while ensuring backward compatibility where necessary.

• Collaborative Development: Work closely with technical leadership to enforce high coding standards and system maintainability.

• Stakeholder Sync: Engage in regular communication with international stakeholders (English proficiency is a must).

Requirements

• PHP Mastery: Deep experience in PHP development; Seniors are expected to have a "mentor-level" understanding of the language.

• Laravel Fluency: Proven experience with the Laravel framework (at a level appropriate for the role seniority).

• Modernization Background: Previous experience with system refactoring, legacy codebases, and architectural migrations is a huge plus.

• Agile Mindset: Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

• Communication: English skills sufficient for daily technical discussions and stakeholder updates.
