Data Integration Developer/Lead

Position: Integration Developer / Lead (Data Integration)
Location: UK Client (remote)
Duration: 6 months

Role Overview:

For our UK-based client, we are looking for a hands-on Integration Developer / Lead with strong expertise in data integration and proven experience delivering end-to-end integration solutions.

This is a technical leadership role requiring an active developer who can design, build, and lead the implementation of a modern data integration platform on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source integration (databases, APIs, files, cloud applications, IoT devices)

• Data extraction using SQL queries, API calls, and file transfers

• Data mapping and transformation into a common schema (including cleansing and enrichment)

• Designing and implementing ETL / ELT pipelines

• Loading data into data warehouse / data lake environments

• Implementing:

  • Real-time streaming

  • Change Data Capture (CDC)

  • Data virtualization

  • Federated integration

• Ensuring data synchronization (batch and near real-time)

• Applying data governance and security best practices
  
  

  Requirements

  • Strong experience in data integration (end-to-end delivery)

  • Proven experience with:

    • ETL / ELT

    • Real-time data streaming

    • Change Data Capture (CDC)

  • Very good knowledge of SQL

  • Experience integrating multiple data sources (RDBMS, REST APIs, files, cloud systems)

  • Strong data modeling and transformation skills

  • Solid understanding of data quality, governance, and security

  • Hands-on developer mindset with leadership capabilities

  • Microsoft Azure experience – MUST
