Project Overview: Join a strategic cloud transformation initiative aimed at modernizing a comprehensive enterprise data landscape. Currently, our core data flows, enterprise application integrations (EAI), and critical financial planning processes (Anaplan ↔ Tagetik) are consolidated within a robust Informatica environment.

As we transition to Microsoft Azure, we are looking for an experienced technical expert to drive this transformation end-to-end. Your journey will begin with a critical initial challenge: mapping the existing legacy landscape and designing a modern cloud architecture. Once the blueprint is set, you will play a key role in the actual build, implementation, and delivery of the new Azure-based solutions.

The Scope of Work (From Discovery to Delivery):

• Phase 1: Technical Discovery & Architecture: Conduct a comprehensive inventory of the existing Informatica environment to map current data flows. Design a target Azure architecture that introduces a clear separation of concerns (routing EAI to Azure Integration Services, structuring a modern Data Warehouse using Azure Data Factory / Synapse, and isolating financial data flows).

• Phase 2: Build & Implementation: Move from design to execution. Develop, configure, and deploy the new data pipelines and event-driven integrations on Azure, translating your architectural vision into a fully functional, enterprise-grade reality.

• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate continuously with business stakeholders and technical teams to validate the proposed architecture, define a phased roadmap, and ensure a smooth migration.

  
  

Technical Requirements

Core Cloud & Architecture Expertise (Must-have):

• Architectural Vision & Execution: Proven track record in end-to-end projects—from decoupling monoliths and designing domain-driven architectures to actual hands-on cloud implementation.

• Azure Data Platform: Strong conceptual and practical knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Databricks for DWH and ETL/ELT processes.

• Azure Integration Services (AIS): Understanding of Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Service Bus for event-driven orchestration and EAI.

• Data Modeling & SQL: Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling to design clean DWH layers.

• Programming: Solid understanding of .NET (C#) or Python for custom data handling and API interactions.

  
  

The "Golden" Skill (Strong Nice-to-Have):

• Informatica Expertise: Practical experience with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS. You don't need to build new solutions in it, but the ability to read and understand existing logic, mappings, and schemas is highly valuable for the initial discovery phase.
