Opportunity Overview

As a Junior Data Scientist, you'll take your first professional steps in a cloud-native, AI-forward environment, working with cutting-edge technologies including Azure, Databricks, and Large Language Models. You don't need to have commercial experience - what matters is your passion for data science and a genuine curiosity for building models that solve real problems.

Expect hands-on exposure to machine learning, computer vision, and LLMs across high-visibility projects for international organizations and Fortune 500 clients.

You'll join a team of passionate engineers and data scientists who value technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing and deploying machine learning models in cloud-native environments using Azure and Databricks.

• Working with LLMs, structured outputs, and LangChain to build intelligent, data-driven solutions.

• Applying computer vision techniques using OpenCV and related tools across real client projects.

• Collaborating with senior data scientists and engineers to translate business problems into model-ready tasks.

• Presenting and explaining your work clearly to stakeholders and clients - demos, walkthroughs, and technical summaries.

• Managing code and model versioning using Git and Databricks Asset Bundles.

• Continuously learning and staying up to date with emerging trends in AI, ML, and MLOps.

What We’re Looking For 

• Ongoing or completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related technical field.

• Solid foundations in Python and a genuine passion for machine learning and data science.

• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts - supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, neural networks.

• Familiarity with or strong interest in computer vision, LLMs, or NLP.

• Good communication and presentation skills - able to demo work and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• English at B2 level or above - our daily working language with international clients and teams.

• A proactive, curious mindset and the drive to learn independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Azure ML, Databricks, or cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with OpenCV, LangChain, or Databricks Asset Bundles.

• Experience with structured output techniques for LLMs.

• Participation in ML competitions, hackathons, or university research projects.

• Any personal or academic projects involving model development - you'll be asked to present one as part of the technical interview.
