Main areas of responsibilities:
R&D Funding
Identification and support in applying for R&D funds (Horizon Europe, EDF, ESA programs, national NCBR programs, etc.),
Collaboration with technical teams in preparing grant applications,
Monitoring of funding opportunities for innovative projects in the areas of cloud computing and Earth Observation,
Support in managing a portfolio of active R&D projects.
Business Development
Developing strategic partnerships with technology companies, research institutions, and international organizations,
Market analysis of cloud computing services in the space and EO sectors,
Support in identifying new business opportunities and market segment.
Startup Ecosystem & Innovation
Building relationships with startups in the areas of space tech, cloud computing, Big Data, etc., as well as partnerships with ecosystem institutions,
Technology Scouting - identifying emerging technologie.
Required qualifications:
Higher education (preferred: economics, finance, computer science, geoinformatics, Mathematics),
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business development, grant writing, or venture capital,
Experience in working with R&D funds (EU, national, sectoral),
Knowledge of the startup ecosystem (experience in VC, accelerators, and incubators preferred),
Experience in preparing grant applications and business plans,
Ability to analyze markets and competitors,
Knowledge of business models in the tech industry (SaaS, cloud services),
Experience in building strategic partnerships,
Excellent English (C1+).
