Cliqz is a Munich based startup with creative minds from more than 30 countries. We develop innovative apps, which combine browser, privacy and search technologies.

You will be part of the team that implements the next generation in Internet search and work together with computer scientists, machine learning experts, mathematicians, computer linguists, and other data lovers. A successful candidate is not afraid of massive scalability, chaos monkeys, huge data sets, parallel processing, and tough challenges at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

- You will research, develop, and implement core search technologies for our Back-end
- You share the responsibility to keep our search backend highly available and scalable to tens of millions of users
- You will keep learning and teaching new skills together with our other highly talented engineers
Your Profile:
- You have a university degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or similar
- You have strong coding skills and ability to learn new languages and tools quickly
- You have knowledge/experience in some or all of the following: Machine Learning, NLP, MapReduce, AWS, Distributed Systems, Crawling, Indexing, Data Science, Docker, Python/C/C++
- You have a pragmatic, self-motivated and results-driven mentality
