Senior SAP BTP Consultant / Developer

Salary range: B2B - 35-40 E/h + VAT 💰

Ciklum is looking for a Senior SAP BTP Consultant / Developer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a Senior SAP BTP Consultant / Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating innovative solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform, enabling digital transformation and driving business value.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions using SAP BTP services (e.g., SAP CAP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build, SAP Fiori/UI5)

• Lead the development and integration of SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA and other systems (on-premise and cloud)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Guide junior developers, ensuring adherence to development best practices and SAP standards

• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality technical delivery

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in BTP applications

• Stay updated on SAP BTP product roadmap and recommend innovations aligned with business needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP development, with at least 2–3 years on SAP BTP

• Strong expertise in SAP BTP services such as:

  • SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)

  • SAP HANA Cloud

  • SAP Integration Suite (e.g., Cloud Integration, API Management)

  • SAP Build Apps / Work Zone

  • SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP Business Application Studio

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, or Java (for backend development)

• Experience with authentication & authorization (OAuth, XSUAA, IAS/IPS)

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes on SAP BTP (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Transport Management)

• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and extensibility models

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Desirable:

• SAP BTP Certification(s)

• Experience with SAP Event Mesh, Kyma, or other hyperscaler integrations (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Background in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

• Hands-on experience in multi-tenant application design
