Senior Frontend Engineer (React) - Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. If you are passionate about building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will do

In the role you will take lead and ownership of the front-end on the projects you lead as well as join in as a senior capacity on projects led by others. As a person you are very hands-on and enjoy getting things done while understanding that we win as a team. As a senior you take an active role in growing our team's capabilities both in terms of skills, best practices and architectural decisions.

You will utilize modern tools and frameworks such as React, TypeScript, and TanStack Query to create dynamic, scalable user interfaces that enhance the user experience.

Your Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and demonstrated successful end-to-end deliveries of new implementations
• Deep understanding of modern frontend development practices, including state management, component design, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with frontend frameworks such as NextJS and tooling like Webpack, Vite, and ESLint.
• Familiarity with React Native is highly appreciated, as our mobile apps and in-person donation terminals are built using it.
• Strong ability to collaborate with product managers, providing technical insights to help shape and refine product features.
• Familiarity with backend integration and RESTful APIs.
• To have at least EU residency and be based in the EU. Alas, we're not set up to hire outside of the EU since we believe that it's imperative that we meet in person once in a while.
• At least one year of remote work experience is required if you plan to work remotely.
