Senior Full‑Stack Engineer (Compliance Technology) – B2B Contract

Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

About the Role

We are partnering with a top‑tier US‑based hedge fund to hire a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer into their Compliance Technology team in Warsaw.

This team builds high‑impact surveillance, monitoring, and reporting platforms that help ensure the firm operates to the highest ethical and professional standards. The systems you’ll work on sit at the heart of the business and interact with research, trading, execution, and risk teams globally.

This is a hands‑on engineering role with real influence over architecture, design, and technology choices across a modern, enterprise‑scale product suite.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain server‑side applications using C#/.NET and Node.js

• Develop modern front‑end interfaces using ReactJS and AngularJS

• Write and optimise SQL Server stored procedures using T‑SQL

• Build and support containerised microservices in a cloud‑based environment

• Work with streaming and messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions

• Collaborate closely with other engineering teams across a global technology organisation

• Deliver robust, scalable solutions with a strong focus on code quality and reliability

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of commercial software development experience

• Strong expertise in C# / ASP.NET

• Hands‑on experience with React and Node.js

• Solid experience with SQL Server and T‑SQL

• Experience with distributed systems or messaging platforms (Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.) – nice to have

• Experience designing or working with containerised microservices – nice to have

• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to communicate effectively within cross‑functional engineering teams

• Experience in financial systems or hedge funds is beneficial but not essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
