Qt/C++ Software Engineer

Working within the Industrial Quality Solutions (IQS) department, at ZEISS, we are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer specialized in Qt Framework.

What you’ll be doing

Join our agile development team dedicated to the development of ZEISS Inspect software. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our software capabilities while ensuring a seamless user experience.

You will collaborate closely with UX Designers to translate user requirements into functional software features, ensuring an intuitive and efficient user experience.

Together with other C++ Software Engineers you will design, develop, optimize existing and maintain features for ZEISS Inspect using the Qt framework and C++.

What we expect from you

• You have a university degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in C++ development, with a strong focus on Qt framework
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Solid understanding of software development principles, Clean Code guidelines and best practices
• Solid understanding of UI design principles
• Experience in desktop application development
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and keeping the goal of a user-friendly software solution in mind
• Strong ability to document processes and work results.
• Good to very good knowledge of English language in speech and writing
