Your role

You will work with advanced NetApp storage technologies to design, operate, and optimize enterprise‑grade NAS environments. Your expertise will help ensure stable, scalable, and resilient data services through deep technical ownership, hands‑on troubleshooting, and strong collaboration across teams. By blending architecture, operations, automation, and continuous improvement, you will play a key role in keeping business‑critical storage platforms performing at their best.

Your tasks

• Operate and configure NetApp ONTAP 9 for design, build, upgrades, and daily management.

• Design and troubleshoot data‑protection and HA solutions such as SnapMirror, SnapVault, SyncMirror, and MetroCluster.

• Deliver end‑to‑end NAS storage design, sizing, provisioning, and capacity planning.

• Lead advanced troubleshooting, major‑incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis.

• Use automation and scripting to streamline deployments, monitoring, and operational workflows.

• Support CIFS/NFS protocols, permissions, and interoperability for application teams.

• Prepare capacity, performance, and monitoring reports, including Active IQ Unified Manager insights.

• Diagnose hardware issues, coordinate vendor support, and plan migration or change activities.

Your profile

• Advanced operational knowledge of NetApp ONTAP and enterprise NAS environments.

• Strong understanding of NetApp data‑protection and HA technologies, including MetroCluster and SnapMirror.

• Solid background in storage architecture, performance analysis, sizing, and provisioning.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex incidents and lead resolution efforts under pressure.

• Familiarity with automation or scripting to enhance repeatability and operational quality.

• Experience with file‑protocol fundamentals (CIFS/NFS) and backup interactions with NAS environments.

• Enterprise‑level exposure, including data migration practices and ITSM‑aligned Change Management.

• Relevant certifications such as NCDA and ITIL Foundation; advanced NetApp or platform certifications are an advantage.
