Senior Data Analyst

📣  We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong business acumen who will support our global customers, mainly in the life science industry, in building innovative data products and services.

We’re looking for a team-player who can also work independently and is willing to take the initiative. Your role will incorporate elements of Solution Analyst, Data Analyst, and Data Engineer functions.

📋 You will be responsible for:

• Gathering, managing and confirming business requirements for the commercial reporting/analytical solutions
• Analyzing, assessing, recommending and validating business-oriented demands or solutions, mostly within commercial data ecosystem space
• Performing detailed analysis of data and the relationships within in, and preparing analytical SQL scripts for integrating new data sources or modifying existing integrations
• Designing data architecture (logical and physical models), providing best practice approach focused on quality, performance and long-term vision
• Preparing test cases for the solutions being implemented, and supporting end users with data validation and/or report testing
• Troubleshooting, problem solving, and discovering dependencies in data
• Writing analytical documentation (technical and business)
• Creating presentations/documentation presenting the results of data analyses and/or proposed solutions to encountered problems
• Working closely with our clients to build the mutual trust and become a trusted advisor
• Managing communication with business stakeholders and a Scrum Team
• Actively participating, and often, leading meetings (e.g., clarifying business requirements, discussing the design, presenting outcomes)

👉 What you will need:

• 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Good familiarity with SQL or similar language
• Very good command of English
• Familiarity with Excel as well as common BI tools
• Analytical and logical thinking
• Can do attitude
• Critical thinking – be able to challenge ideas, suggest improvements

💡 Nice to have:

• Experience in Life Science industry (preferred Animal Health but Human Pharma is also welcomed)
• Experience in direct cooperating with clients (internally or externally) in a role of a Consultant or Advisor
• Experience in AI, Data Integration or Data Science areas is a plus
• Management skills (e.g., time, scope, team, budget management)
• Outstanding communication skills with global stakeholders
• Ability to see the full picture of the project, recognize dependencies, identify risks across multiple stakeholders
• Experience working with a global client
• Experience working in agile methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban)
• Experience in Delivery Management
• Familiarity with Tableau, DBT, Snowflake, S3, Jira, Confluence, Alation, Dataiku DSS, Power BI, Innovator
