Role Overview

We’re looking for skilled Python Developers (Mid and Senior) to join our team and support one of Europe’s major banking clients.

In this role, you’ll work on business-critical systems that power banking operations, automation workflows, and integrations between multiple enterprise environments. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, architects, and business experts to ensure seamless performance, automation, and scalability of key financial applications.

What you need:

• Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in building and maintaining applications

• Familiarity with scheduler/workflow automation tools such as Apache Airflow, Control-M, Autosys, Stonebranch, or similar

• Solid experience working in Linux environments - comfortable with scripting, monitoring, and troubleshooting

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases (querying, optimization, and integration)

• Proven track record in application maintenance, ensuring reliability and operational continuity

• Experience in system integrations, particularly between operating systems, databases, applications, and APIs

• Exposure to banking or enterprise environments is a strong plus

Your tasks:

• Develop and maintain Python-based solutions for critical banking systems

• Implement and optimize workflow automation and scheduling processes using tools like Airflow or Control-M.

• Support application maintenance activities, including performance monitoring, incident resolution, and version upgrades.

• Manage integrations across systems, databases, and APIs, ensuring data flow consistency and security.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Database Administrators, and Infrastructure teams to maintain stability and scalability.

• Proactively identify technical issues and propose process or system improvements

• Deliver clean, well-documented code that aligns with internal development standards and best practices.
