Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CI/CD Engineer with strong experience in Jenkins-based pipeline design, a solid Linux systems background, and a strong understanding of network and security concepts. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain a secure, enterprise-grade CI/CD solution, aligned with the proposed architecture, integrating source control, artifact management, automated testing, security controls, and deployment workflows.

This role is hands-on and requires both engineering execution and collaborative problem-solving across infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams.

Your responsibilities would be to:

    • Secure Jenkins controllers and agents

    • Integration with Git-based source control systems

    • Artifact management using JFrog Artifactory

    • Containerized build and delivery workflows using Podman

  • Implement pipeline-as-code using Jenkinsfiles and shared libraries.

  • Enhance and maintain CIS Level 1 (CIS1) hardening across CI/CD building blocks, including:

    • RHEL-based systems

    • KVM virtualization environments

  • Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based build and runtime environments, including system configuration, patching, performance tuning, and security hardening.

  • Integrate CI/CD workflows with:

    • Issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira)

    • Artifact promotion and versioning processes

    • Monitoring and security tooling

  • Apply networking best practices within CI/CD and platform environments, including:

    • VLANs, routing, and firewall rules

    • Proxies and DMZ-based architectures

    • Secure service-to-service communication

  • Implement access controls, secrets management, and network segmentation aligned with enterprise security policies.

  • Support regression testing, quality gates, and approval workflows prior to deployment.

  • Monitor pipeline health, improve reliability, and optimize build performance.

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and compliance evidence.

What you need

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jenkins in production environments.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps best practices

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience implementing or enhancing CIS Level 1 (CIS1) benchmarks on:

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

    • KVM-based infrastructure

    • Databases

  • Good experience working with Linux systems:

    • Bash/shell scripting

    • Services, logging, and troubleshooting

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Podman for container build and execution

    • JFrog Artifactory for artifact storage, dependency management, and promotion

  • Good understanding of network concepts, including:

    • TCP/IP, DNS, and routing

    • Firewalls, proxies, and load balancing

    • Segmented networks (VLANs, DMZs)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in enterprise, regulated, or security-sensitive environments.

  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with security monitoring and hardening tools, including:

    • Wazuh (SIEM / HIDS)

    • Zabbix, preferably hardened according to CIS1 guidelines

  • Familiarity with:

    • Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)

    • Secure container and virtualization platforms

  • Experience supporting multi-zone or air-gapped CI/CD architectures.

  • Understanding of compliance, audit readiness, and security governance.

What you can expect from us:

  • Working with latest technologies

  • Lots of career development potentials (career-planning)

  • Challenging projects (mostly product/feature development)

  • International software development teams with distributed delivery groups

  • Private healthcare and Multisport card at employment of contract or reimbursement for it at B2B contract

  • Training & education

  • Attractive remuneration
