Tester with ServiceNow (EU public)

This time you have the chance to be part of a project related to the development, consulting and support of IT systems for Frontex. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime.

Our expectations

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation +ISTQB Advanced certification.

• Without ISTQB certification, a minimum of 8 years of commercial experience in tests.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of higher education.

• Expert in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing and regression testing.

• Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans.

• Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries.

• Hands-on experience with testing ServiceNow platform.

• Expert in designing test environments.

• Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position".

• Experience in setting up test management tool for new project.

• Experience in providing test documentation.

• Experience in leading testing in complex project.

• Practical knowledge of testing tools.

• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly.

• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Knowledge of processes in Software Development Lifecycle.

• Proficiency in English (certification is an advantage),

• Hybrid work 1-2 days per week (Warsaw).

Main responsibilities

• Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities.

• Develops test plan, test cases and designs testing environment.

• Implements, executes and debugs application test cases and scripts.

• Validate and document completion of testing and Development.

• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues.

• Analyses functional and technical system design for testability.

• Contributes to quality assurance in the project.

• Documents tests and tracks defects.

• Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system and reports on status and trends.

• Cooperates with analysis, architects Software Development and service desk teams.
