System Administrator (Microsoft)

Project for our client in the lottery industry. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting IT systems and solutions for businesses.

Our expectations:

• An Associate's degree in computer science or a related field is a must-have, but a Bachelor's degree would be great

• We're looking for someone with around 2 years of related experience, but we're open to candidates with a passion for learning and a strong foundational skillset

• Microsoft certifications (MCSE) or similar credentials are a big plus

• Familiarity with Microsoft Application Servers and modern management

• Experience with Identity Management tools like MIM or Okta

• Knowledge of core networking and operating systems, along with solid troubleshooting skills

• Experience with technology deployments and rollouts, as well as Group Policy design and Active Directory administration

• Ability to work independently on day-to-day work tasks

Key tasks

• Perform research, troubleshoot, and provide resolution to complex issues for new system technologies, on prem and cloud-based, in physical and virtual deployments.

• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

• Develop system standards and recommend improvements to enhance performance

• Define and document best practices and support procedures.

• Assist with hardware, software, and vendor evaluation.

• Carry out tasks at Management's direction

• Interact with staff and other peer groups at the technical level, as required.

• Serve as a point of contact and lead to junior team members
