We're looking for an experienced Project Support Officer!

This time you have the chance to be part of a project related to the development, consulting and support of IT systems for Frontex. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime.
Our expectations:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
Minimum 3 years of IT
Experience in software development environments, including proprietary web-based systems
Familiarity with technologies such as PHP, Drupal, QlikView, or similar frameworks
Experience in at least two software development projects in the role of Project Support Officer
Experience applying the PM² project management methodology
At least one valid and internationally recognized project management certification, such as: PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), PM² Basic
Knowledge of project management methodologies and principles
Proficiency in drafting documents such as reports, letters, presentations, and meeting minutes
Ability to organize and plan tasks effectively and deliver results on time
Proficiency in using MS Office tools
Basic understanding of ICT terminology and concepts
High attention to detail, especially in the quality and formatting of documents
Service-oriented attitude and professional communication style
Systematic and structured approach to work
Key tasks:
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of software development projects
Apply the PM² methodology to day-to-day project support tasks
Report on project progress, resources, budget, and cost-related aspects
Identify project risks, support mitigation strategies, and contribute to issue resolution
Perform quality assurance tasks, such as data collection, compliance checks, and audits
Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes
Manage correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain and update project records and documentation repositories
Assist in the preparation, testing, and reporting of test data and test results
Ensure efficient document flow and coordination within the project team
Draft and prepare official project documentation, including reports, presentations, notes, and letters
