Automation Tester / Selenium (EU public)

This time you have the chance to be part of a project related to the development, consulting and support of IT systems for Frontex. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime.

Our expectations:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation,

• ISTQB Advanced certification or 3 years of experience in test design above required,

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of higher education,

• Experience in unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, acceptance testing and

• regression testing,

• Well versed and practical knowledge of software testing tools,

•  Experience in one of tools: Selenium, Cypress, Protractor or equivalent,

• Experience in testing interfaces between systems,

• Experience in test data preparation,

• Experience in designing tests for automation,

• Experience in software developer role,

• Hands-on experience with Test Automation using Playwright,

• Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries,

• Hands-on experience with API testing,

• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly,

• Hands-on experience with testing systems based on data platform,

• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills,

• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle,

• Proficiency in English (certification is an advantage),

• Hybrid work 1-2 days per week (Warsaw).

Main responsibilities:

• Designs and documents test cases for software systems,

• Executes test,

• Executes exploratory test sessions,

• Reports Test results and found defects,

• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues,

• Cooperates with analysis, architects, software development and service desk teams,

• Reviews project documentation,

• Takes test lead role in smaller projects.
