Senior SAP Project Manager - Remote / B2B

For a global FMCG company, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to lead an M&A-related SAP transformation and system transition programme.

Project scope

The project involves creating a new Company Code for a market unit in the target SAP system and transitioning processes and data from one SAP environment to another.

The Project Manager will coordinate business, functional and technical teams across Finance, Supply Chain, data migration and integration workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the SAP transition project from planning through go-live and stabilisation.

• Manage scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks and dependencies.

• Coordinate Finance, Supply Chain, integration, data migration and technical teams.

• Build and maintain the overall project plan, including testing and cutover activities.

• Ensure alignment between global and local business stakeholders.

• Track deliverables, resolve project issues and escalate critical risks.

• Lead governance meetings and provide clear status reporting.

• Coordinate external vendors and distributed project teams.

• Ensure project readiness for go-live and post-go-live support.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management experience, including complex SAP programmes.

• Strong experience in SAP migrations, rollouts, M&A, carve-in or system transition projects.

• Experience managing cross-functional SAP workstreams.

• Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, data migration and system integration dependencies.

• Proven experience with testing, cutover, go-live and stabilisation.

• Excellent stakeholder, vendor and senior management communication skills.

• Strong ownership and ability to operate independently in a complex international environment.

• Fluent English.

• 100% remote

• B2B contract

• Start: mid-July

• Initial duration: until the end of January

• Long-term programme with rollouts planned until the end of 2028

• Further SAP S/4HANA transformation expected
