DevOps Developer

We are BoomBit, a leading Mobile Gaming company with a global audience of millions of players and over one billion downloads of our games since our inception in 2010. Our main games from the BoomBit Group include Hunt Royale, Darts Club and Ramp Car Jumping. We're a game developer and a publisher, with over 250 creative people working together. We cover games of nearly every genre in the free-to-play (F2P) model on iOS and Android, and also on the Nintendo Switch.

We have experts spread across publishing, user interface/experience (UI/UX), game design, monetization, user acquisition (UA), creatives, business intelligence (BI), quality assurance (QA), LiveOps, programming, art and game development. We are continually looking to strengthen our team.

Location: Hybrid/Remote Work

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and develop cloud infrastructure, primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Manage backend application infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD processes

• Automate build, test, and deployment processes

• Maintain and further develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)

• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot environments

• Collaborate with development and product teams on system development

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Ensure best DevOps and security practices

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineer

• Very good knowledge of AWS

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (e.g. Cloud Run, Pub/Sub)

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket)

• Practical knowledge of Docker

• Experience working with Linux/Unix

• Scripting skills (Bash, Python; Groovy is a plus)

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code

• Experience working in a microservices environment

• Knowledge of Git and teamwork in Agile methodologies

• Very good command of English (B2+)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with task queue and workflow orchestration tools (Celery, Airflow)

• Experience with databases (MySQL) and data warehouses

• Knowledge of mobile application release processes (iOS / Android)

• Experience with GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines

• Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
