Integration Engineering Manager
Blue Water Shipping, founded in Denmark in 1972, is a global provider of logistics services in modern supply chain management. Our team of professionals offers complete and tailor-made solutions to meet shipping requirements worldwide. We pride ourselves on delivering the best service and highest quality in the industry.
Over the past three years, we’ve embarked on an ambitious digital transformation journey, focusing on customer-centricity and optimizing our IT services. As we continue to grow, we’re establishing a new team in Poland, and this role will be instrumental in shaping our expansion efforts.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Integration Engineering Manager to lead our integration teams and evolve our integration capability as a key enabler of our digital strategy. These teams design, build and operate seamless integrations across internal platforms and applications as well as customer and partner ecosystems.
As Integration Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for people leadership, technical direction and operational excellence across the integration landscape, supporting our digital strategy and large transformation programs.
This is a high-impact role with strong visibility across both technology and business, where your work directly influences delivery speed, system stability, and customer experience.
How We Work
We design, build, and operate integrations using modern cloud technologies, with a strong focus on automation, reliability and scalability. Our teams work in an Agile setup and collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects and application teams across the organization.
We operate with a product-centric and agile mindset, without applying a one-size-fits-all approach. Given our size and scope, we value pragmatism, sound judgment and outcomes over rigid adherence to frameworks. We balance fast delivery with long-term sustainability and platform thinking. Continuous improvement, transparency and shared ownership are central to how we work and we actively strive to reduce complexity rather than add to it.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of integrations across customer, partner and internal application landscapes
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing integration engineering team
Drive recruitment and hiring to scale the team with the right skills, mindset and diversity of experience
Foster a culture of ownership, engineering quality, learning and continuous improvement
Provide technical leadership in .NET and Azure Cloud development
Ensure high engineering standards across CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices
Promote reusable and scalable integration patterns while actively reducing technical debt
Define and evolve integration standards, ways of working, and governance
Manage budgets and capacity with clear financial transparency and accountability for outcomes rather than activity
The Right Candidate
You are a people-focused engineering leader who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, delivery, and business. You are comfortable taking ownership, exercising sound judgment, and making pragmatic decisions while improving both systems and teams.
You bring:
A solid understanding of integration technologies, patterns, and architectures
Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing engineering teams
A strong technical background in .NET Core and Azure Cloud services
Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in Agile environments
Nice to have
Experience delivering integrations as part of large transformation programs (e.g. ERP or TMS)
Exposure to iPaaS or enterprise integration platforms
Background working in complex, enterprise-scale IT landscapes
What we offer
A key leadership role within a critical digital and integration capability, with real influence to define direction and evolve the current setup
The opportunity to shape how integration is built, operated and evolved across the organization
A collaborative, professional engineering culture with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
Private medical care (Medicover),
Flexible hybrid model of working: 3 days in the office and 2 days at home,
Multisport card (FitProfit),
Training and conference budget,
Increased tax-deductible costs (creative work),

Friendly work atmosphere driven by strong family values (family-owned business),
