About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Alteryx + Databricks) for Migration Project.

We are supporting a global organization in transforming their Finance Data platform from an Alteryx and SQL-based setup into a modern Databricks environment.

The role focuses on analyzing existing workflows, translating them into scalable Databricks pipelines, and ensuring a stable and production-ready data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand existing Alteryx workflows.

• Rebuild transformation logic in Databricks (PySpark / Spark SQL).

• Integrate SAP data sources into the new platform.

• Develop scalable data pipelines and data models.

• Support testing, validation, and documentation.

Requirements:

·       5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering.

·       Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.

·       Experience working with business and technical stakeholders.

·       Good experience with Alteryx (understanding complex workflows).

·       Hands-on Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL experience.

·       Experience with SAP data (e.g. HANA, S/4, BW).

·       Solid SQL skills (e.g. SQL Server).

·       Ability to work independently in complex environments.

·       Fluent English in speech and writing (at least B2/C1).

Nice to Have:

·       Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.

·       Databricks orchestration (Workflows).

·       Power BI or similar reporting tools.

·       Finance domain exposure.
