We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Specialist – Network & Security (Local Operations, DE) who will take Tier‑3 operational ownership for network and security services within the local production platform.

What you will do:

• Ensure stability and performance of the on‑prem production platform.

• Resolve complex network/security incidents and lead RCA.

• Monitor system health and manage changes in production.

• Validate deployments and ensure observability and rollback readiness.

• Automate recurring operational tasks to reduce toil.

• Enforce security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.

• Maintain clear operational documentation and runbooks.

Requirements:

• 5+ years operating enterprise networks in private cloud/data center environments.

• Strong incident response and troubleshooting across routing, firewalling, and connectivity.

• Solid networking knowledge: WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, multi‑tenant connectivity.

• Practical security enforcement and vulnerability remediation experience.

• DNS and certificate lifecycle management.

• Experience with ITSM tools (JSM, Jira, Confluence).

• Familiarity with observability, SLI/SLO/SLA, and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

• Understanding of platform operations (Kubernetes, automation, containers).

• Basic awareness of GitOps and IaC (Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm).

• Strong RCA and cross‑team coordination skills.

• English C1 and German C1.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated or highly critical environments.

• Knowledge of enterprise‑class ITSM and governance; familiarity with SIEM/SOAR.

• Scripting/automation skills: Bash/Python/Ansible.

• Experience with PKI and certificate management tooling.

• Familiarity with enterprise DevOps toolchains: GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, Backstage, Harness.
