Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with an analytical or engineering background who will join our client’s project and support them in digital transformation as well as in building new solutions based on AI technologies.

What will you do:

• Managing projects/streams in the data domain (GCP, integrations, BI, governance).

• Planning and controlling scope, budget, schedule, risks, dependencies, and resources.

• Setting and enforcing delivery standards: Definition of Ready/Done, quality gates, release plan.

• Stakeholder management (business/IT), status communication, reporting, escalations.

• Coordinating the work of teams: Data Engineering, BI, analysts, architecture, security, vendors.

• Building the backlog with the Product Owner/business, prioritization (value vs effort vs risk).

• Ensuring delivery quality: requirements, testing, approvals, stabilization, documentation.

• Improving the process: project KPIs, lead time, timeline prediction, lessons learned.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in managing IT projects (preferably in data/BI/integrations).

• Practical understanding of SQL / databases / data flows / APIs (sufficient for substantive discussions).

• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and the ability to adapt the methodology to real‑world conditions.

• Ability to conduct “difficult conversations”: scope, priorities, compromises, risks.

• Proficiency with tools such as Jira/Confluence (or equivalent), MS Project/Planner

• Fluency in communication in both Polish and English

Nice to have:

• Experience with GCP (BigQuery/Dataplex/Composer/PubSub) or other cloud platforms.

• Certifications: PMI/PRINCE2/AgilePM/PSM/PSPO (not required).

• Experience in transformation programs or project portfolios (PMO).

• Understanding of Data Governance / Data Quality (as elements of risk and control).
