Job description
Key role responsibilities of the Functional Tester role are:
- Backend testing including API and database tests (must have)
- Analyse business requirements, functional specifications and collaborating with business analyst / Product Owner
- Identify test cases from Software Requirements and/or User Stories
- Create and execute manual test cases to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation provided
- Functional and E2E test scripts dry-runs, peer reviews and execution
- Defects identification, reporting, management
- Support of Test Automation team in automated tests execution and updates
Role requirements:
- Being proficient in Functional, E2E and UAT testing and test processes as a part of SDLC and STLC
- Over 3 years of experience working as Software Tester
- Advanced knowledge of different testing phases and types: Integration, UAT, E2E, functional, non-functional testing
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)
- Experience in backend and front-end testing
- Ability to communicate in English on a day-to-day basis in speaking and writing
- Problem solving skills and having ability to work under pressure
- Being a team player but also able to work independently using your initiative
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
Nice to have:
- Salesforce testing experience - an advantage
- General knowledge of some programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python) - an advantage
- ISTQB Certification - an advantage
- Finance market experience - an advantage
- Know Your Customer domain experience - an advantage
