Data Engineer

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in DBT, data warehousing, and SQL. In this role, you'll work collaboratively to optimize data solutions and lead the transition of stored procedures to DBT models.

✔️ Key responsibilities:

• Analyze existing stored procedures to identify candidates for migration to DBT.
• Convert SQL code from stored procedures to DBT models, maintaining functionality and performance.
• Design and implement DBT models for data transformations, including aggregations and joins.
• Develop tests in DBT to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Identify and resolve performance issues to enhance efficiency for large datasets.
• Stay current with DBT updates and iterate on models as business requirements evolve.

✔️ Required skills and experience:

• DBT Expertise: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Data Warehousing & SQL: Strong skills in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and Snowflake.
• Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in an agile, flat-structured environment.
• Git/GitLab: Basic experience in version control.
