Benefit Systems International is part of the Benefit Systems capital group, and its operations focus on foreign markets. Within the so-called foreign segment, we are present in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Croatia. We oversee the development of subsidiaries and provide business, legal, and IT consulting services. The Project Management Department is responsible for managing changes in the systems and processes delivered by Benefit Systems International to its subsidiaries.
Due to the international nature of Benefit Systems International’s operations, a significant portion of the work is conducted in English.
Responsibilities:
- Cooperate closely with Business Partners and local Project Managers located in other countries
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare estimations based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Develop and manage a project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to countries about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Implement and manage changes
- Identify, prevent, and manage risks
- Report to the Head of PMO on a daily basis
- Take an important role in process improvements, if necessary
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in IT industry as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role
- Very good command of English and Polish, both verbal and written
- Very good understanding of technical nomenclature, eager to learn and understand it even better
- Practical knowledge of Confluence and JIRA
- Knowledge of the full IT project lifecycle - from analysis to deployment
- Practical knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methods
- Highly organized with the ability to work on several projects and tasks in parallel
- Able to anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur; effectively work with team members and management to resolve complex issues
- Analytical thinking
- Investigative and problem-solving skills
- Able to 'connect the dots'
- Able to communicate and exchange complex information in a clear, concise manner
- Nice to have - experience in working for internal customers (long-term relations with appointed business owners)
- Nice to have - experience in data migration projects
