We are ExpertSender – a technology company based in Gdańsk, delivering advanced solutions for multi-channel marketing and process automation. Our ExpertSender Email Marketing Platform supports clients worldwide in executing effective marketing campaigns. Now, we’re looking for a Product Owner who will be responsible for developing our product and collaborating with our technical team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with product leaders: Translate vision and strategy into specific epics and user stories that form the foundation of the team's work.
  • Managing the product backlog: Create and prioritize a list of features and tasks based on customer needs, market data, and business goals.
  • Defining requirements: Break down complex features into detailed user stories that align with Agile/Scrum best practices.
  • Continuous improvement: Regularly review and update the backlog based on feedback, shifting priorities, and new insights.
  • Communicating with stakeholders: Act as a liaison between the development team and key stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Planning and implementation: Work with the team to plan sprints and prepare a product roadmap that reflects market needs and company objectives.
  • Ensuring quality: Define acceptance criteria for features and verify their implementation at every stage.
  • Gathering feedback and experimenting: Collect user feedback, test new features, and optimize them based on data and results.

What we expect from you:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the IT industry.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Aha, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working with development teams and creating product roadmaps.
  • The ability to understand complex technical dependencies and describe them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Data-driven mindset: Making decisions based on data and analyzing the effects of implemented changes.
  • Strong communication skills: Effectively collaborating with the team and stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Proactivity and independence: Being ready to take ownership and responsibility for product development.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written), at a level allowing smooth communication with clients (B2/C1 level).

Additional advantages:

  • Experience in designing marketing automation workflows or working with similar solutions.
