Scrum Master (Pharma)

Contractor will play a key role in Scrum process implementation & facilitation in MediCom Data Sphere

Program which aims to create data infrastructure for Merck Healthcare Commercial.

Key responsibilities include :

• Act as a Scrum of Scrums Master for the program implementation team: Contractor will be tasked with facilitating the process for Scrum teams in MediCom Data Sphere program for its Product Increments in 2025.
• Ticketing system administration: Contractor will help the Chief Product Owner write and monitor user stories for the development team in MediCom to create and maintain Program Backlog.
• Foster Scrum principles: Contractor will act as a Scrum @ Scale Expert to elevate Merck Healthcare practice and prepare documentation of the process for teams to follow.
• Consulting and Guidance: Providing consultations to Scrum Masters about the Scrum @ Scale Framework.
• Collaboration within Scrum@Scale: Contractor will coordinate the work of Program Scrum Masters and Scrum Teams working in the program to enable Scrum@Scale framework for MediCom.
• Impediments tracking & resolution: Contractor will create and maintain a Program Impediment Log which then he will communicate to ensure proper response and removal of impediments.
• Communication with sponsors: Contractor will prepare & execute communication to program
• stakeholders on the progress of the program to ensure transparency.

Contractor will utilize their own equipment (PC and/or Laptop) and will connect to Merck network only via Desktop on Demand service provided by Merck.

Contractor is free to work from location of their choosing and free to perform the services with timetable of their choosing.

The program will be managed using SCRUM methodology, ensuring iterative development and close collaboration with all stakeholders. Program is conducted in 3-week sprint intervals organized in to 4 Product Increments in 2025.

The goal after completion of the service is to facilitate four Product Increments in 2025 MediCom

Program in Scrum@Scale framework.

Tools that are in use: documentation creation in Merck Confluence platform, Azure Dev Ops as program

planning / ticketing system, MS Teams for online meetings, Scrum@Scale framework.
