This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our QA Team in Scoutz. Scoutz is in charge of the Salesforce Platform in the BEC Community – Scoutz 360. The Scoutz 360 platform is the advisory platform for the banks in the BEC community which supports all kind of costumer interactions.
In the work with the Scoutz 360 platform quality is top priority. The main purpose for the QA-team is to provide QA processes, guidance and tooling to the 10 delivery teams in their work with features and solutions. In terms of quality the test automation framework plays a significant role in optimizing regression testing.
Primary task and responsibilities:

Automation Strategy Adherence: Follow and implement the comprehensive test automation strategy developed by the QA Team, ensuring alignment with the identified tools, frameworks, and processes.

Maintenance, operate and exceed the framework: Maintain, Operate and Exceed the existing test automation framework as a robust and scalable framework to support various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration).

Test Script Creation and Maintenance: Writing automated test scripts is a critical part of the role. As a QA automation engineer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimising test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases.

Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand the automation requirements and ensure seamless integration of automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

Support Tool Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and technologies that align with the organization's needs and goals in collaboration with the rest of the QA Team.

Team Collaboration: Be part of the QA Team and help to get progress for the team as a whole. Be a QA advocate (especially test automation) in Scoutz domain

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of test automation

Defect Analysis: Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

Ambitious Automation Goals: Work in an environment with ambitions for test automation, aiming to significantly enhance test coverage and efficiency through automation.
To succeed, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an engineering field.
- 4-6 years of experience in software testing and test automation, with proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
- Experience with various automation tools and technologies such as Playwright, TestNG, MS SQL queries, Cucumber, and Maven.
- Solid experience with languages such as Java.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining automated test suites (in Java) for API and GUI testing.
- Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated quality checks at every stage of development.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring automation teams to achieve project goals.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, effectively conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in English.
- Proactive mindset and commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in test automation and quality assurance.
Nice to have:
- Test experience on the Salesforce or Mainframe platform
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Salesforce) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP), Salesforce Administrator or similar
