Microsoft 365 Platform/system engineer (Senior)

We are searching for a Microsoft 365 Sr. Platform/system engineer

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw Poland, and you will join our Workplace department. The M365 Development team is in charge of managing and maintaining the M365 Administration services for BEC and our 25 bank customers in Denmark.

The Microsoft 365 Sr. Platform/system engineer offers to join our team of highly dedicated professionals who thrives on the development of M365 on our Modern Workplace     

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Anne-Mette Bluhme.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• M365 Administration: manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Copilot, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Office 365 suite.
• Ensure availability, performance and security of these services
• Security and Compliance: implement and manage security measures to protect M365 environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
• Handling of M365 2nd line incidents and requests
• You will be part of a cross-country M365 team of 12 dedicated professionals in an Agile way of working

To succeed you will have: 

• Solid experience in managing Microsoft 365 services
• Strong knowledge of M365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive for Business.
• Knowledge of Power Apps, power automate, MS Purview
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.

It’s nice-to-have:

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards for cloud services
• Knowledge of networking and identity management in a cloud environment
• Experience in the Banking sector
