Junior service manager
We are searching for a Junior Service Manager
This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, and you will join our Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) program. We pursue the important mission to fight financial crime in collaboration with a wide range of Danish banks.
The AML program is built around 5 teams focused on delivering features to our customers in the field of AML and offering technical solutions and platform support.
We are looking for a Junior Service Manager to join our Platform and Support team (PLS). The PLS team consists of 14 specialized and passionate people owning, supporting, and maintaining two platforms for our Financial Crime Prevention solutions: Firco for transaction sanction screening and SAS AML focusing on transaction monitoring, customer screening and KYC.
We work closely together with the other teams in the AML program, our AML banks, and our vendors, primarily LRNS and SAS Institute. Our team is the central nerve in the AML program and if you want to be part of maintaining and strengthening the foundation of the FCP Platforms we are the team to join.
Together with our Service & Release Manager you will focus on supporting our customers (external and internal) with first-line support and driving the release management process for implementing releases on the FCP platform.
We are split between Roskilde/Denmark and Warsaw with the majority working out of the Warsaw office. The atmosphere is informal, and we prioritize social activities, having fun and supporting each other to succeed as a team.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
First level support for our FCP banks
Incident management – supporting the customers
Problem management
Change management
Release management – assessing
Stakeholder management (internal & external)
Participate in retrospectives on the releases and our release life cycle to strengthen the processes and support the feature teams to identify areas to improve
To succeed you will have:
1-2 years of experience in IT Service Management or IT Support/Project Management
A structured approach to organization
Understanding the different phases and aspects of the lifecycle from developing new features, maturing them for release and through the maintenance phase
An agile mindset
Great communication skills, incl. fluent in English (written and spoken)
Curiosity in the financial crime prevention area and how it impacts the banks value chain
It’s nice-to-have:
Project management and facilitation skills
Organizational implementation skills
Knowledge and experience in Financial Sector
ITIL foundation certification
